About GÉANT Procurement

As a public contracting authority, GÉANT conducts all procurement in accordance with applicable EU public procurement principles, as set out in EU Directive 2014/24/EU, and the Dutch Public Procurement Act (Aanbestedingswet 2012). As an organisation operating across multiple countries and often in the context of EC-funded programmes, we may also be subject to additional requirements arising from European Commission grant agreements.

Our procurement is guided by four core principles:

  • Transparency
  • Equal treatment
  • Non-discrimination
  • Proportionality

Standard Terms for Goods and Services

Our standard contractual terms apply to the supply of goods and/or services raised under an approved Purchase Order for values below European Commission (EC) thresholds. All contracts exceeding EC thresholds will compete through a formal procurement exercise or EC-compliant framework and are subject to terms specific to that contract or agreement.

The following terms apply exclusively to the provision of IaaS+ services via GÉANT’s OCRE 2024 Framework.

Our commitment to ethical procurement

At GÉANT, we operate with honesty, transparency, and a strong sense of responsibility that extends to our supply chain. We have systems and controls in place to ensure that modern slavery has no place anywhere within our organisation or in any of our supply chains. We invite all our current and future partners to download and read our anti-slavery code of conduct.
